THE OHIO DENTAL ASSOCIATION'S ANNUAL SESSION IS AN ANNUAL EVENT THAT THE ODA HOSTS WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF PROVIDING QUALITY CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES TO MEMBER DENTISTS AND DENTAL TEAM MEMBERS AND PROVIDING AN EXHIBIT HALL WITH VENDORS WHO MARKET PRODUCTS TO DENTAL PRACTICES SO THAT DENTISTS ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE LATEST TECHNOLOGIES AVAILABLE TO RUN A SUCCESSFUL AND EFFICIENT DENTAL PRACTICE. THE ANNUAL SESSION IS ALSO HOST TO THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE ODA'S GOVERNING BODY, THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES.
THE OHIO DENTAL ASSOCIATION WRITES AND PUBLISHES A MONTHLY PUBLICATION, "ODA TODAY", THAT IS DISTRIBUTED TO MEMBER DENTISTS. THE PUBLICATION ENSURES THAT MEMBER DENTISTS HAVE ACCESS TO IMPORTANT INFORMATION THAT AFFECTS THEIR DENTAL PRACTICE, SUCH AS OHIO RULES AND REGULATIONS, PRACTICE MANAGEMENT AND CURRENT EVENTS.THE ODA SERVES 75 PERCENT OF OHIO'S PRACTICING DENTISTS - MORE THAN 5,000 MEMBERS. THE "ODA TODAY" PUBLICATION IS DISTRIBUTED TO ALL MEMBERS EACH MONTH.
THE OHIO DENTAL ASSOCIATION WORKS TO SUPPORT, PROTECT AND ADVANCE THE INTERESTS OF ITS MEMBER DENTISTS. THE ASSOCIATION'S OBJECTIVE IS TO MONITOR AND RESPOND TO LEGISLATIVE AND REGULATORY ISSUES INVOLVING VARIOUS GOVERNMENTAL ENTITIES AND TO WORK TO ENACT THE ODA LEGISLATIVE AGENDA.
