THE PENNSYLVANIA ASSOCIATION OF COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTERS IS AN ASSOCIATION ESTABLISHED TO PRESERVE AND PROMOTE THE VIABILITY OF COMMUNITY BASED HEALTH CARE CENTERS WITH CONSUMER BOARDS WHOSE MISSION IS SERVICE TO VULNERABLE POPULATIONS AND COMMUNITIES.

PACHC SERVES AS THE PRIMARY CARE ASSOCIATION FOR PENNSYLVANIA, SUPPORTING FEDERALLY QUALIFIED HEALTH CENTERS (FQHCS), RURAL HEALTH CLINICS (RHCS) AND OTHER LIKE-MISSION PRIMARY CARE PROVIDERS ACROSS THE STATE IN IMPROVING ACCESS TO PRIMARY HEALTH CARE. THIS INCLUDES MEDICAL, DENTAL, BEHAVIORAL, SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER AND OTHER HEALTHCARE SERVICES ESSENTIAL TO MAINTAINING AND IMPROVING HEALTH STATUS OF INDIVIDUALS AND COMMUNITIES, AS WELL AS SUPPORTS LIKE ENROLLMENT ASSISTANCE TO GAIN THE SECURITY OF HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE, CASE MANAGEMENT, TRANSPORTATION, AND MORE. PACHC ACCOMPLISHES ITS GOALS THROUGH PROVISION OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, POLICY ANALYSIS, PEER SUPPORT, COMMUNICATION, RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT AND RECRUITMENT ASSISTANCE TO MORE THAN 300 SITES ACROSS PENNSYLVANIA, THAT SERVE MORE THAN 900,000 PATIENTS, 65% OF WHOM HAVE INCOMES BELOW FEDERAL POVERTY LEVEL AND 86% WITH INCOMES BELOW 200% FPL.
