HELD AN IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL CONFERENCES FOR ONCOLOGY NURSES. APPROXIMATELY 4,000 NURSES ATTENDED THE CONFERENCES WHICH PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE ATTENDEES.
OTHER EDUCATIONAL, RESEARCH, OR MEMBERSHIP PROGRAMS
THE SOCIETY PUBLISHES PERIODICAL AND COMMERCIAL PUBLICATIONS DURING THE YEAR. WE PUBLISH 2 BI-MONTHLY PERIODICALS, A MONTHLY NEWSLETTER, SUPPLEMENTAL ISSUES OF THE BI-MONTHLY PERIODICALS, AND A SUMMARY PERIODICAL OF OUR LARGEST ANNUAL NATIONAL CONFERENCE. THESE ITEMS ARE PROVIDED TO MEMBERS AS PART OF THEIR ANNUAL DUES. ADDITIONALLY, WE PUBLISH AND SELL COMMERCIAL BOOKS RELATED TO NURSING CANCER CARE.
THE SOCIETY PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS IN A VARIETY OF METHODS. WE UTILIZE ON-LINE COURSES, BOTH WITH LIVE INSTRUCTORS AND FOR SELF STUDY, WEBCASTS, REGIONAL AND LOCAL LIVE PROGRAMS. THE COURSES IMPROVE THE ONCOLOGY NURSES UNDERSTANDING OF THE LATEST TOPICS IN ONCOLOGY.
