JOURNALS AND PUBLICATIONS: ACP PUBLISHES ANNALS OF INTERNAL MEDICINE TWICE-MONTHLY, THE TOP PEER-REVIEWED INTERNAL MEDICINE JOURNAL IN THE WORLD. ACP JOURNAL CLUB SUMMARIZES THE MOST IMPORTANT MEDICAL ARTICLES FROM MORE THAN 100 JOURNALS. ACP INTERNIST IS AN AWARD-WINNING SEMI-MONTHLY NEWSPAPER FOR INTERNISTS, WHILE ACP HOSPITALIST IS WRITTEN FOR INTERNISTS IN HOSPITAL PRACTICE.
EDUCATION & INFORMATION: ACP PROVIDES EVIDENCE-BASED EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES FOR PHYSICIANS AND OFFERS MANY CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES. ACP'S MEDICAL KNOWLEDGE SELF-ASSESSMENT PROGRAM (MKSAP), NOW IN ITS 20TH EDITION, IS THE TOP SELLING SELF-ASSESSMENT CURRICULUM AMONG INTERNISTS. MKSAP PROVIDES INTERNISTS AN OPPORTUNITY TO TEST THEIR CLINICAL KNOWLEDGE AND COMPARE THEIR RESULTS AGAINST NATIONAL AVERAGES. ADDITIONALLY, ACP OFFERS BOARD REVIEW COURSES; RECERTIFICATION COURSES AND RESOURCES; AND HOSTS OVER 100 REGIONAL EDUCATIONAL MEETINGS. ACP PRODUCES EVIDENCE-BASED CLINICAL PRACTICE GUIDELINES THAT FOLLOW A RIGOROUS DEVELOPMENT PROCESS AND ARE BASED ON THE HIGHEST QUALITY SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE. THE GUIDELINES COVER MANY AREAS OF INTERNAL MEDICINE, INCLUDING SCREENING FOR CANCER AND OTHER MAJOR DISEASES, DIAGNOSIS, TREATMENT AND MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY.
