THROUGH MENTORING AND MODELING, PROFESSORS SUPPORT STUDENTS IN THE DISCOVERY OF GOD AND SELF IN A CONTEXT THAT HONORS THEIR HISTORY AND AFFIRMS THEIR CULTURE BOTH INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY AS PEOPLE OF COLOR.
