THROUGH MENTORING AND MODELING, PROFESSORS SUPPORT STUDENTS IN THE DISCOVERY OF GOD AND SELF IN A CONTEXT THAT HONORS THEIR HISTORY AND AFFIRMS THEIR CULTURE BOTH INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY AS PEOPLE OF COLOR. STUDENTS ARE CHALLENGED AND EQUIPPED TO THINK AND ENGAGE DEEPLY WITH PURPOSEFUL ACTION, EMBRACE AUTHENTIC FAITH, AND EMBODY AND PROMOTE JUSTICE WITHIN THEIR COMMUNITIES, NATION, AND THROUGHOUT THE WORLD.
