THREE VALLEY CONSERVATION TRUST (TVCT) WORKS WITH LAND OWNERS TO PERMANENTLY PROTECT THEIR LAND WHILE MAINTAINING PRIVATE OWNERSHIP THROUGH CONSERVATION AND AGRICULTURAL EASEMENTS. THE TRUST ALSO MONITORS THESE EASEMENTS (LAND STEWARDSHIP). IN 2021, TVCT FACILITATED THE APPROVAL AND FUNDING OF 7 NEW EASEMENTS. TVCT HOLDS 216 EASEMENTS AS OF THE END OF 2021, WHICH PROTECT 24,417 ACRES OF LAND IN 6 OHIO COUNTIES AND 1 INDIANA COUNTY.
THE TRUST WORKS WITH CITIZENS AND GOVERNMENTS TO CREATE LAND USE AND WATERSHED PROTECTION POLICIES TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR LANDOWNERS TO PROTECT THEIR FAMILY'S LAND.
