THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES PERIODIC AND ANNUAL CONFERENCES FOR APPROXIMATELY 130 MEMBERS AND VARIOUS NON-MEMBER SUPPORTED LIVING RELATED PROFESSIONALS SERVICING DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED INDIVIDUALS IN OHIO. THE ORGANIZATION'S WEBSITE AT WWW.OSDAOHIO.ORG ALSO PROVIDES INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC RELATED TO THE PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND INITIATIVES DURING THE YEAR. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION ADMINISTERS PROJECT STIR, A TRAINING PROGRAM FOR SELF ADVOCATES DESIGNED TO PROVIDE INDIVIDUALS WITH THE TOOLS TO ADVOCATE FOR THEMSELVES, MOBILIZE OTHERS IN ADVOCACY AND GAIN LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE.
