THE DEPARTMENT PROVIDES FIRE AND EMS SERVICES TO 1800 RESIDENTS OF THE TOWN AND THE COVERAGE ARER INCLUDES AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL HEAD START PROGRAM NUMEROUS BUSINESSES A PORTION OF INTERSTATE 70 A LARGE RETAIL DEVELOPMENT AND GAS AND OIL WELL SITES WE ACTIVELY MUTUAL AID WITH THE SURROUNDING VOLUNTEER DEPTS AND THE CITY OF WHEELING WE PUT ON DEMONSTRATIONS FOR STUDENTS AND THE COMMUNITY TO CONTINUE TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC WE ARE ACTIVELY RECRUITING VOLUNTEERS
