MID-WESTERN IS LICENSED BY THE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF JOB & FAMILY SERVICES AS A GROUP HOME PROGRAM AND AS A PRIVATE NON-CUSTODIAL AGENCY. STAFF OF MID-WESTERN ARE QUALIFIED, MOTIVATED, CONSCIENTIOUS INDIVIDUALS DEDICATED TO QUALITY CHILD CARE AND FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES.

MID-WESTERN CHILDRENS HOME SEEKS TO PROVIDE STABLE AND NURTURING SUBSTITUTE CARE ARRANGEMENTS FOR YOUTH REQUIRING OUT-OF-HOME CARE FOR VARIOUS REASONS. TO THIS END MCH OPERATES A GROUP HOME, FOSTER HOME, AND ADOPTION PROGRAM.
VILLAGE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL (A SUBSIDIARY OF MID-WESTERN CHILDRENS HOME) IS A PRIVATE SCHOOL ESTABLISHED IN 1994. THE SCHOOL IS CHARTERED BY THE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND IS ACCREDITED TO GIVE HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMAS TO EVERY STUDENT WHO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THE REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATION FROM THE 12TH GRADE. THE SCHOOL SERVES STUDENTS 6TH THROUGH 12TH GRADES WHO ARE IN NEED OF ACADEMIC, BEHAVIORAL, OR EMOTIONAL ASSISTANCE. THERAPEUTIC SERVICES SUCH AS INDIVIDUALS, GROUP AND FAMILY COUNSELING, AS WELL AS PSYCHIATRIC SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS WHO MAY QUALIFY. THE SCHOOL IS STAFFED BY A 100% HIGHLY QUALIFIED FACULTY.
