IN 2021, SCRF HAS ACCOMPLISHED THE FOLLOWING: COLLABORATED WITH AND SUPPORTED UNI PARK CITY MENTAL HEALTH CLINIC. CONTINUED RECOVERY, MORAL RECONATION THERAPY (MRT) AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE/MORAL RECONATION THERAPY (DV-MRT) CLASSES IN THE SUMMIT COUNTY JAIL. SUPPORTED CONTINUING EDUCATION CLASSWORK OF JAILED STUDENTS, INCLUDING BUSINESS/ACCOUNTING CLASSES AND DRUG/ALCOHOL COUNSELOR CLASSES. OFFERED EXTENSIVE SUPPORT TO INMATES SEEKING SOBRIETY AND RECOVERY THROUGH JAIL PROGRAMMING, INCLUDING EXTENSIVE INTERVENTION WITH THE UTAH DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS AND THE UTAH BOARD OF PARDONS. OFFERED FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR MEDICALLY ASSISTED TREATMENT (SUBOXONE/SUBUTEX/NALTREXONE) FOR DRUG COURT PARTICIPANTS. PROVIDED LEGAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT TO DRUG COURT GRADUATES AS THEY EXPUNGE THEIR BCI CRIMINAL RECORDS. PROVIDED EXTENSIVE FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO DRUG COURT PARTICIPANTS, PAST AND PRESENT, INFLICTED WITH FINANCIAL HARDSHIPS DUE TO THE GLOBAL COVID PANDEMIC. ALSO, SCRF CONTRIBUTED TO LOCAL NOT-FOR-PROFITS SUPPORTING FOOD AND HOUSING NEEDS OF SUMMIT COUNTY RESIDENTS. DEDICATED SIGNIFICANT FINANCIAL RESOURCES (RENT, EXPENSES) TO DRUG COURT PARTICIPANTS AND JAIL INMATES TRANSITIONING TO A LIFE OF SOBRIETY. SCRF, TO SUPPORT INMATES AND REDUCE JAIL TENSIONS, CONTRIBUTES TO INMATES' COMMISSARY. OFTEN, INMATES HAVE NO FINANCIAL SUPPORT WHILE INCARCERATED. THIS PROHIBITS INMATES FROM CONTACTING LOVED-ONES, PURCHASING NECESSITIES, PROCURING ADDITIONAL FOOD OR SUPPLIES. SCRF CONTRIBUTES MONEY TO THIS NEED. AN ANCILLARY BONUS: TENSIONS IN THE LIVING PODS OF THE JAIL SUBSIDE.
