Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
CONFERENCES AND WORKSHOPS: THE NAI NATIONAL CONFERENCE IS AN ANNUAL EVENT ATTRACTING ABOUT 800 PARTICIPANTS. CONFERENCES USUALLY OCCUR OVER A FIVE-DAY PERIOD DURING THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF NOVEMBER. THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INTERPRETATION IS EVENT HELD EVERY OTHER YEAR AT SITES AROUND THE WORLD ATTRACTING UP TO 150 PARTICIPANTS. ADDITIONALLY, MULTIPLE REGIONAL WORKSHOPS ARE HELD ON A VARIETY OF SPECIAL INTEREST TOPICS AND ARE USUALLY HELD IN THE SPRING.
CERTIFICATION: NAI HOLDS PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION OR TRAINING COURSES HOSTED BY THE NATIONAL OFFICE, THE COURSES INCLUDE CERTIFIED INTERPRETIVE GUIDE TRAIN-THE-TRAINER, CERTIFIED INTERPRETIVE HOST TRAIN-THE TRAINER, COACHING INTERPRETERS, AND PROCESS OF INTERPRETIVE PLANNING. ADDITIONALLY, NAI-CERTIFIED TRAINERS CONDUCT ROUGHLY 200 CLASSES FOR MORE THAN 3,000 ATTENDEES TO CREDENTIAL THEM AS CERTIFIED INTERPRETIVE GUIDES AND CERTIFIED INTERPRETIVE HOSTS.
MEMBERSHIP: MEMBERSHIP INCLUDED ROUGHLY 6,200 MEMBERS IN APPROXIMATELY 30 COUNTRIES DURING THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2022. MEMBER SERVICES INCLUDE ACCESS TO RESTRICTED ONLINE RESOURCES, SUBSCRIPTION TO LEGACY MAGAZINE, ASSISTANCE WITH CAREER DEVELOPMENT, AND DISCOUNTS ON NETWORKING AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT EVENTS.
