ON-TRACK 4 EMPLOYMENT IS DESIGNED TO SERVE PEOPLE IN OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY WHO ARE UNEMPLOYED OR UNDEREMPLOYED., THROUGH PARTNERING WITH LOCAL CHURCHES, UPWORKS EQUIPS AND CONNECTS PARTICIPANTS TO CAREER-BASED EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES. PARTICIPANTS ARE GIVEN A 8-WEEK WORK REDINESS TRAINING IN ORDER TO PREPARE THEM FOR CAREERS.
THE ENRICHING SCHOOLS PROGRAM CONNECTS SCHOOLS WITH LOCAL CHURCHES AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS. THROUGH THESE STRONG COMMUNITY RELATIONSHIPS, THE SCHOOL IS EMPOWERED TO MAKE THEIR DISTINCT VISION A REALITY. ENRICHING SCHOOLS PROVIDES TANGIBLE OPPORTUNITIES FOR CARING ADULTS TO SERVE WITH THEIR LOCAL SCHOOL. THIS NETWORK OF SUPPORT MOVES THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY TOWARD THE COMMON GOAL OF ESTABLISHING STRONGER SCHOOLS, STRONGER FAMILIES, AND STRONGER COMMUNITY, ONE STUDENT AT A TIME.
EMPOWERING ADULTS ENGAGES COMITTED, MOTIVATED INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE OVERCOME VARIOUS LIFE CHALLENGES. THROUGH GUIDED SUPPORT, PARTICIPANTS WORK WITH 1-2 TRAINED VOLUNTEERS (LIFE ADVOCATES). UTILIZING A SELF-DISCOVERY TOOL AS A STARTING POINT OUR PARTICIPANTS ARE ENCOURGED TO DREAM TOWARDS THEIR FUTURE. OVER A 3-MONTH ENGAGEMENT THEY DEVELOP GOALS AND EXCUTE TASKS TOWARD EDUCATION AND/OR SUSTAINABLE EMPLOYMENT. UPWORKS PARTNERS WITH FAITH COMMUNITIES, BUSINESSES, AND NONPROFITS TO PROVIDE STRONG SUPPORT THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS.
