JHUMKI BASU FOUNDATION CONTINUED ITS WORK IN BRINGING EQUITY IN SCIENCE EDUCATION TO UNDERSERVED SCHOOOLS ALL OVER THE WORLD VIRTUALLY. ITS FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM DREW ITS TWELVETH COHORT OF SCIENCE TEACHERS WHO WORK WITH AT-RISK YOUTH AND IMMERSE THEM IN INCLUSIVE TEACHING TECHNIQUES TO ENGAGE MORE STUDENTS IN SCIENCE WITH A VIEW TO EMPOWERING THEM TO COMPLETE SCHOOL AND GO ON TO COLLEGE. THE ANNUAL SCI-ED WORKSHOP AND EXPO DREW 125 TEACHERS AND STUDENTS TO A CELEBRATION OF SCIENCE BY YOUNG PEOPLE FROM UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES.
