THE CENTER PROVIDES LIFE SKILL TRAINING, EDUCATION, AND COUNSELING TO THEIR RECIPIENTS SO THAT THEY PROVIDE FOR THEIR FAMILIES WITHOUT THE NEED OF FUTURE ASSISTANCE. THE CENTER ALSO PROVIDES FOOD AND SHELTER ASSISTANCE TO THEIR RECEPIENTS UNTIL THEY ARE ABLE TO MEET THEIR NEEDS ON THEIR OWN.
THE FOOD PANTRY PROVIDES FOOD TO OVER 1,280 RECIPIENTS A MONTH. THIS NUMBER INCLUDES MEN AND WOMEN WHO ARE ENROLLED IN THE WOMEN'S PROGRAM AND WORK PROGRAM.
THE WORK PROGRAM PROVIDES MEN AND WOMEN THE SKILLS AND EDUCATION, AND WORK PLACEMENT THEY NEED IN ORDER TO BECOME SELF SUFFICIENT PROVIDERS FOR THEMSELVES AND FAMILIES.
THE CENTER PROVIDES LITERACY, BASIC SKILLS, GENERAL EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT (G.E.D.) AND TEST PREPARATION ASSISTANCE TO EMPLOYEES AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
