THE WOMEN'S FUND FOR THE FOX VALLEY REGION PROVIDED 52 GRANTS TO 25 DIFFERENT ORGANIZATIONS TO SUPPORT OUR FOCUS AREAS OF SAFETY, HEALTH, AND WELL-BEING; EDUCATION; ECONOMIC SECURITY; AND LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS IN THE FOX VALLEY REGION. THE WOMEN'S FUND CONTINUED TO MAKE ITS LARGEST GRANT TO SUPPORT THE YOUNG WOMEN'S INITIATIVE WHICH USES A TWO-GENERATION APPROACH TO HELP YOUNG WOMEN, SINGLE MOTHERS AND THEIR CHILDREN CREATE A NEW AND BRIGHTER VISION OF THEIR FUTURE.THE WOMEN'S FUND HELD ITS 21ST ANNUAL AND 2ND VIRTUAL LUNCHEON IN SEPTEMBER 2021 FEATURING KEYNOTE SPEAKER DR. SCHARMAINE LAWSON. DR. LAWSON IS A NATIONAL RECOGNIZED, AWARD-WINNER NURSE PRACTITIONER, BUSINESS OWNER SPEAKER AND AUTHOR. DURING THIS PERIOD THE WOMEN'S FUND DID MANY PRESENTATIONS TO HIGHLIGHT THE FINDINGS OF THE SURVEY ON THE IMPACT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC ON WOMEN IN NORTHEAST WISCONSIN, RAISING AWARENESS AND HIGHLIGHTING ACTIONS THAT CAN BE TAKEN TO ADDRESS THE CHALLENGES.
