LUMOS HAITI IAWJ IS COLLABORATING WITH THE COLE NATIONAL DE LA MAGISTRATURE (EMA) AND MEMBERS FROM THE HAITIAN CHAPTER OF THE IAWJ (CHAIFEJ) TO SUPPORT LONG-TERM SUSTAINABILITY OF THE PROGRAM AND REINFORCE THE CAPACITY OF LOCAL INSTITUTIONS. IAWJ HAS TWO PROGRAM OBJECTIVES: ENABLE GOVERNMENT PARTNERS TO MORE EFFECTIVELY OVERSEE AND COORDINATE C-TIP ACTIVITIES NATIONALLY; AND INCREASE PUBLIC AWARENESS OF DANGERS, LEGAL CONSEQUENCES, AND VARIOUS FORMS OF TRAFFICKING IN HUMAN BEINGS. DRL BOTSWANA - WITH OUR PARTNERS IN BOTSWANA, WE LEVERAGE THE INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS FRAMEWORK TO ENSURE THAT LGBTI PERSONS ENJOY THE RIGHTS TO WHICH THEY ARE ENTITLED AS CITIZENS. AFGHAN WOMEN, IAWJ IS WORKING TO SUUPPORT AFGHAN WOMEN JUDGES, INCLUDING PROVIDING TRAVEL ASSISTANCE TO THOSE LEAVING AFGHANISTAN. GFEMS, WORKING IN KENYA AND UGANDA TO REDUCE THE PREVALENCE OF MODERN SLAVERY WITHIN COMMUNITES AND INDUSTRIES WHILE BUILDING THE EVIDENCE BASE TO BETTER UNDERSTAND WHICH INTERVENTIONS AND MODELS MEET THAT OBJECTIVE MOST EFFICTIVELY.
