ADVANCED THE EDUCATION AND GENERAL WELFARE OF CHILDREN AND ADULTS OF NORMAL AND ABOVE NORMAL INTELLIGENCE WHO HAD LEARNING DISABILITIES OF PERCEPTUAL, CONCEPTUAL OR COORDINATIVE NATURE SOMETIMES ACCOMPANIED BY BEHAVIOR DIFFICULTIES. THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDED APPROXIMATELY 4712.6 TUTORING SESSIONS AND 116 TESTS FOR LEARNING DISABILITIES. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO OFFERED A VARIETY OF CONTRACT-BASED SERVICES THAT WERE TAILORED TO MEET THE NEEDS OF LOCAL SCHOOLS IN ORDER TO PROVIDE VALUABLE ONE-ON-ONE SERVICES TO STUDENTS OF THOSE SCHOOLS. SERVICES INCLUDE ONE-ON-ONE MEETINGS WITH EDUCATORS, FACULTY TRAINING, CLASSROOM OBSERVATIONS, INDIVIDUALIZED TUTORING SERVICES, AND DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENT PORTFOLIOS AND SUPPORT PLANS.
