PROJECT FIGHTING CHANCE IS A YOUTH MENTORING LIFE SKILLS PROGRAM THAT STARTED IN 1999 IN THE LOW-INCOME COMMUNITY OF SAN BERNARDINO. IT USES VEHICLES TO DRIVE YOUTH FROM ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOR TO THE ORGANIZED SPORT OF AMATEUR BOXING. IT HAS AN INTEGRATED PROGRAM MODEL THAT PROVIDES ATHLETICS HEALTHY EATING VOCATIONAL TRAINING EDUCATION AND COUNSELING.
