THE MISSION IS TO BRIDGE THE GAP BETWEEN PEOPLE OF ALL AGES AND NATURE. THE GOAL IS TO PROMOTE UNDERSTANDING AND STEWARDSHIP OF THE NATURAL WORLD. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED BY PROVIDING NATURE ORIENTED PROGRAMS FEATURING LIVE ANIMAL AMBASSADORS AT OUR AUDIENCES LOCATION.

A IN 2021, ECHOES OF NATURE PROVIDE ENGAGING AND INFORMATIVE NATURE ORIENTED PROGRAMS TO AUDIENCES OF ALL AGES IN LIVE AND IN VIRTUAL FORMAT. THE PROGRAMS WERE CONDUCTED LIVE IN PERSON, VIA ZOOM, OR AS A RECORDED PRESENTATION THAT WERE PROVIDED TO SCHOOLS, EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTERS, ADULT CENTERS, BIRTHDAY PARTIES, AND COMMUNITY EVENTS. IN THE FOLLOWING YEAR WE PLAN TO RESUME OUR NORMAL LIVE PROGRAMS AND CONTINUE OFFERING VIRTUAL PROGRAMS. IN ORDER TO PROVIDE ENRICHMENT TO SENIOR CITIZENS AT FACILITIES WITH LIMITED FINANCIAL RESOURCES, ECHOES OF NATURE WORKS WITH EACH FACILITYS BUDGET. THE SCHOOL AGE PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO SUPPORT THE MARYLAND STATE ENVIRONMENTAL LITERACY STANDARDS. THE PRESENCE OF LIVE ANIMAL AMBASSADORS BRINGS THE ENVIRONMENTAL CURRICULUMS TO LIFE. THE COVID19 PANDEMIC HAD A SIGNIFICANT IMPACT ON THE AUDIENCE SIZE REACH FOR 2021, WHICH IS ESTIMATED 12,720.
