PROVIDE MOBILE TRAILER-BASED EQUIPMENT FOR DISASTER RELIEF. THESE PORTABLE SHOWERS AND LIVING QUARTERS ARE EASILY TRANSPORTED TO DISASTER RELIEF SITES AND PROVIDE FREE ACCOMODATION FOR NPOS AND OTHER RELIEF AGENCIES.

MISSIONS ON WHEELS (MOW) PROVIDES DORMITORY TRAILERS AND SHOWER TRAILERS FOR THE USE OF RELIEF WORKERS RESPONDING TO NATURAL DISASTERS. THESE ARE MADE AVAILABLE AT NO COST; AS A RESULT MORE RELIEF DONATIONS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE RELIEF WORK THAT'S DESPERATELY NEEDED. THE MAIN COMPONENTS OF ITS WORK ARE DISASTER RESPONSE/RELIEF IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING A NATURAL DISASTER, AND ONGOING LONG-TERM DISASTER RECOVERY. IMMEDIATE RESPONSE: IN AUG. 2021, HURRICANE IDA POUNDED AREAS OF LOUISIANA THAT WERE STILL RECOVERING FROM HURRICANE LAURA IN 2020. MOW DEPLOYED FOUR SHOWER TRAILERS, TWO 16-BED DORM TRAILERS, AND MULTIPLE GENERATORS TO SUPPORT FIRST RESPONDERS AND OTHERS RESPONDING TO IDA.
