MUTUAL AID RESPONSE IN FIRE FIGHTING, RESCUE AND FIRST AID MANPOWER AND FACILITIES AMONG HOUSTON SHIP CHANNEL INDUSTRIES FOR MUTUAL AID IN CASE OF EMERGENCY SITUATIONS.

THE ORGANIZATION HAS A BUILDING IN DEER PARK, TEXAS WITH OFFICE AND MEETING ROOM FACILITIES. MEETINGS AND TRAINING SESSIONS ARE HELD IN THE FACILITY. THIS BUILDING ALSO HOUSES STORAGE SPACE AND COMPUTER AND RADIO AREAS.


TRAINING AND DRILLING TOGETHER OF ALL MEMBERS FOR EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS AND DISASTER SITUATIONS - INDUSTRY MEMBERS AS WELL AS LOCAL CITY, COUNTY AND STATE AGENCIES. C.I.M.A. CONTINUOUSLY STRIVES TO BE IMMEDIATELY PREPARED AT ALL TIMES AND RESPOND TO ALL INCIDENTS. DISASTER DRILLS ARE HELD AND MEMBERS RESPOND TO EMERGENCY SITUATIONS. REPORTS ARE MADE ON ALL INCIDENT RESPONSES. AN ANNUAL TRAINING SYMPOSIUM IS HELD, LED BY SPECIALISTS IN EMERGENCY SITUATION FIELDS.


CIMA HAD 106 MEMBERS WITH A COMMON GOAL OF PREPARING FOR AND RESPONDING TO EMERGENCY SITUATIONS. ORGANIZATIONAL AND RESOURCE MANUALS ARE SUPPLIED TO ALL MEMBERS, PLUS CIMA ZONE MAPS, DECALS, EMERGENCY SUPPLIES, ETC.
