THE ESTRIA FOUNDATION CREATES ART IN PUBLIC WITH ASSISTANCE FROM ARTISTS, YOUTH, EDUCATORS, AND ACTIVISTS. GOAL IS TO RAISE AWARENESS AND INSPIRE ACTION IN THE MOVEMENT TO RESOLVE HUMAN AND ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES WHILE EDUCATING & DEVELOPING YOUTH.

MELE MURALS:ONLY COMPLETED THREE FULL MELE MURALS DUE TO COVID AND STUDENTS EITHER LEARNING FROM HOME, OR NOT GATHERING. PARTICIPANT NUMBERS WERE MUCH LOWER. MODIFIED OUR PROCESSES FOR DISTANCE LEARNING AND SOCIAL DISTANCING WITH SUCCESS.
HALAU PAHEONA:PIVOTED OUR AFTER-SCHOOL CLASS TO ONLINE. OUR HIGH SCHOOL CLASSES WERE HYBRID, MEANING SOME STUDENTS WERE IN PERSON WHILE OTHERS WERE ONLINE AT THE SAME TIME. WE STILL OFFERED THE SAME NUMBER OF CLASSES.
SUMMER PROGRAM:OFFERED OUR PROGRAM ONLINE INSTEAD OF IN-PERSON. THIS ALLOWED US TO DESIGN A NEW MODEL THAT CAN SERVE STUDENTS LIVING ANYWHERE INSTEAD OF ONLY ON OAHU.
