STREET PROGRAMS - WITH NUMEROUS STREET OUTREACHES, PEOPLE LOVING NASHVILLE BRINGS RELIEF STARTING WITH FOOD, CLOTHING, EMERGENCY SUPPLIES, BUILDING COMMUNITY AND THEN LEADING TO CONNECTION TO SUSTAINING RESOURCES. IN 2021, WE SERVED OVER 50,000 MEALS, AND 30,000 ARTICLES OF CLOTHING ALONG WITH COUNTLESS EMERGENCY SUPPLY DROPS BOTH ON THE STREETS AND DEEP INTO HIDDEN ENCAMPMENTS.
HOMEFULLNESS - PEOPLE LOVING NASHVILLE LOCATES THE MOST VULNERABLE AND WORKS TO PAVE PATHS TO HOUSING AND SUSTAINABILITY. ONCE IN HOUSING, THEY CONTINUE TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE IN BRINGING RELIEF, COMMUNITY AND CONNECTION. WE SERVED OVER 20,000 MEALS IN TRANSITIONAL HOUSING UNITS WHICH BUILDING GATE WAYS TO CONNECTION TO RESOURCES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITY.
WILD INDIGO - WILD INDIGO IS A PROGRAM WITHIN PEOPLE LOVING NASHVILLE THAT COMES TO BRING ENRICHMENT TO THE MIND, BODY AND SOUL OF WOMEN WHO ARE CURRENTLY INCARCERATED AS WELL AS THOSE TRANSITIONING OUT OF INCARCERATION. WILD INDIGO HAD MAJOR CHALLENGES IN SUSTAINING THEIR NORMAL OPERATIONS DURING THE PANDEMIC, BUT FOUND CREATIVE WAYS OF COMMUNICATING THROUGH SHUT DOWN JAILS BY MEANS OF A NEWSPAPER, LETTERS, PHONE CALLS AND IN PERSON FOLLOW UPS WITH THE COMMUNITY ONCE OUT OF JAIL.
