THE ORGANIZATION IMPLEMENTS AND FACILITATES SCHOOL, FAMILY, AND COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS, PROMOTING A SAFE AND DRUG-FREE LIFESTYLE FOR THE WELL-BEING OF ALL CLARK COUNTY RESIDENTS. THE ORGANIZATION'S SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION PROGRAM WORKS TO REDUCE THE IMPACT OF SUBSTANCE MISUSE IN NEVADA, WHICH IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH IDENTIFICATION OF ALCOHOL AND DRUG MISUSE NEEDS OF NEVADA AND BY SUPPORTING A CONTINUUM OF SERVICES INCLUDING PREVENTION, EARLY PREVENTION, TREATMENT, AND RECOVERY SUPPORT. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES REGULATORY OVERSIGHT AND FUNDING FOR COMMUNITY-BASED PUBLIC AND NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AS WELL AS COORDINATION OF STATE AND FEDERAL FUNDING.
