THE OBJECTIVES OF THIS GROUP SHALL BE: TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE COMMUNITIES SERVED BY CANFIELD ROTARY CLUB, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA. MOST SIGNIFICANTLY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF CANFIELD, OHIO AND CANFIELD TOWNSHIP, OHIO, BUT NOT LIMITED THEREIN. TO ENCOURAGE THE GOODWILL AND INVOLVEMENT OF THE WIDER COMMUNITY. TO FOSTER THE COMMUNITY SERVICE ACTIVITIES AND ENCOURAGE CIVIC PRIDE.

CONTRIBUTIONS IN SUPPORT OF CHARITABLE AND SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS IN THE CANFIELD AND SURROUNDING AREAS. THE CANFIELD ROTARY ASSOCIATION SPONSORS THE ANNUAL LIGHTING OF THE GREEN IN THE CENTER OF CANFIELD, OH. THE EVENT FEATURES HORSE-DRAWN CARRIAGE RIDES, COOKIES, COCOA AND LIVE MUSIC AT PICCADILLY PARLOUR, PIZZA, COOKIES AND OTHER TREATS AT THE TOWNSHIP HALL, AND, OF COURSE, SANTA CLAUS. THE EVENT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND IS THE OFFICIAL NIGHT WHEN THE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS ARE LIT. THE CANFIELD ROTARY ASSOCIATION PARTNERS WITH OPERATION WARM WHOSE MISSION IS MOST EFFECTIVELY EXECUTED IN COLLABORATION WITH ORGANIZATIONS SERVING IMPOVERISHED CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE PROVISION OF BRAND NEW WINTER COATS AFFORDS UNPARALLELED OPPORTUNITY TO LEVERAGE CRITICAL OUTCOMES IMPORTANT TO TRANSITIONING FAMILIES TO FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE. THROUGH COMMUNITY BASED PARTNERSHIPS OPERATION WARM PROVIDES FAMILIES WITH BRAND NEW WINTER COATS FOR THEIR CHILDREN THROUGHOUT THE US.
