ACTS LEGACY FOUNDATION, INC. SUSTAINED THE SAMARITAN FUNDS OF ACTS WHICH ARE PART OF THE FAMILY OF CHARITABLE FUNDS. THE FOUNDATION ALSO SUPPORTED THE BENEVOLENCE FUND OF THE DELAWARE COMMUNITIES AND HERON POINT. THESE FUNDS ASSURE FINANCIAL SECURITY FOR LIFECARE RESIDENTS. ACTS LEGACY FOUNDATION, INC. APPROVED AND ADMINISTERED FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF $1,953,244 FOR ASSISTANCE TOWARDS MONTHLY MAINTENANCE FEES FOR 77 RESIDENTS. CHARITABLE DONATIONS FOR THIS PURPOSE WERE $2,707,534 AND PROCEEDS FROM BENEFITS AND EVENTS WERE $219,786.
THE FAMILY OF CHARITABLE FUNDS AND HOSPICE FUND SUPPORT PROGRAMS THAT BENEFIT THE RESIDENTS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE ACTS COMMUNITIES. ACTS LEGACY FOUNDATION, INC. APPROVED AND ADMINISTERED THE RELEASE OF $135,547 IN RESTRICTED USE DONOR FUNDS TO SUPPORT THESE PROGRAMS. CHARITABLE DONATIONS FOR THESE PURPOSES WERE $147,363.
SUPPORTING THE OPERATIONAL NEEDS OF THE ACTS COMMUNITIES THROUGH CHARITABLE GIVING PROVIDES DONORS WITH AN OPPORTUNITY TO SUPPORT THE PLANNED PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS THAT HELP TO MEET THE RESIDENTS' SOCIAL, PERSONAL, HEALTH AND SPIRITUAL NEEDS IN A CULTURE OF LOVING KINDNESS. CHARITABLE GIVING ALSO ENRICHES THE WORK ENVIRONMENT, GIVING EMPLOYEES ADDITIONAL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES. CHARITABLE DONATIONS IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,209,813 WERE RELEASED FOR PROGRAM SUPPORT AND ENHANCEMENTS, POSITIVELY IMPACTING THE LIVES OF OVER 10,200 RESIDENTS. CHARITABLE DONATIONS FOR THESE PURPOSES WERE $2,032,830.
MISSION DEVELOPMENT SUPPORTS PHYSICAL EXPANSIONS AND IMPROVEMENTS TO THE ACTS COMMUNITIES WHICH DIRECTLY BENEFIT THE LIVES OF ACTS RESIDENTS. CHARITABLE DONATIONS IN THE AMOUNT OF $108,548 WERE RELEASED FOR MISSION DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS. CHARITABLE DONATIONS FOR THESE PURPOSES WERE $279,199.
