DIRECT MAIL EDUCATIONTHROUGH THE DIRECT MAIL PROGRAM, MASSACHUSETTS FISCAL ALLIANCE SEEKS TO EDUCATE AND INFORM RESIDENTS OF MASSACHUSETTS ON THE POSITIONS AND ACTIONS OF THEIR STATE LEGISLATORS ON KEY ISSUES RELATING TO FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY, TRANSPARENCY, AND ACCOUNTABILITY IN STATE GOVERNMENT AND INCREASING ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY FOR THE PEOPLE OF OUR COMMONWEALTH. THIS INFORMATION INCLUDES ROLL CALL VOTES ON SPECIFIC PIECES OF LEGISLATION, SPONSORSHIP STATUS OF KEY BILLS AND AMENDMENTS RELATING TO OUR MISSION, AND OTHER INFORMATION AND RESOURCES TO ASSIST RESIDENTS IN INCREASING THEIR LEVEL OF CIVIC ENGAGEMENT. LEGISLATIVE SCORECARDMASSACHUSETTS FISCAL ALLIANCE MAINTAINS A SEPARATE WEBSITE FOR OUR LEGISLATIVE SCORECARD (MASSFISCALSOCRECARD.ORG). THE SCORECARD PROVIDES RANKINGS OF LEGISLATORS BASED ON THEIR VOTES ON ISSUES PERTINENT TO OUR MISSION OF ADVOCATING FOR FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY, TRANSPARENCY, AND ACCOUNTABILITY IN STATE GOVERNMENT AND INCREASING ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY FOR THE PEOPLE OF MASSACHUSETTS.
