CARE PACKAGES FOR TROOPS: PACKAGES OF PERSONAL ITEMS, CLOTHING, AND FOOD ARE SENT OVERSEAS TO DEPLOYED TROOPS IN ALL BRANCHES OF THE MILITARY. IN FY 2020-21, THE ORGANIZATION SHIPPED CARE PACKAGES TO APPROXIMATELY 100 "ADOPTED" MILITARY UNITS, AVERAGING OVER 3,400 POUNDS TRANSPORTED EACH MONTH.
TICKETS FOR TROOPS: TEAMS, SEASON TICKET HOLDERS, SPONSORS, AND PROMOTERS DONATE TICKETS TO THE ORGANIZATION SO TROOPS, VETERANS, AND THEIR FAMILIES MAY ATTEND EVENTS FOR FREE. IN FY 2020-21, OVER 5,800 TICKETS WERE DISTRIBUTED.
ADOPT A MILITARY FAMILY: THROUGH THIS PROGRAM, MILITARY FAMILIES IN NEED OF SUPPORT ARE ANONYMOUSLY ADOPTED BY CIVILIAN FAMILIES, ORGANIZATIONS AND COMPANIES. HUNDREDS OF MILITARY, VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES ARE SUPPORTED ANNUALLY THROUGH THIS PROGRAM DURING THE HOLIDAYS AND THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. OCC IS ALSO ABLE TO DISTRIBUTE DONATED GOODS TO U.S. MILITARY BASES TO SUPPORT MILITARY FAMILIES THROUGH THIS PROGRAM.
