BIGHORN VALLEY HEALTH CENTER (BVHC) WAS FORMED TO DELIVER COMPREHENSIVE PRIMARY CARE, BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SUPPORT AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT TO THE UNDERSERVED POPULATION OF RURAL MONTANA EXPANDING INTO WYOMING. INHERENT IN OUR MISSION IS A COMMITMENT TO HEALTH PROMOTION AND EDUCATION, AND WE WILL SEEK TO PROVIDE A BROAD RANGE OF PATIENT EDUCATION IN HEALTHY LIFESTYLE CHOICES, NUTRITION, FITNESS, AND HEALTH LITERACY. THESE EFFORTS WILL OCCUR IN INDIVIDUAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS, SEMINARS AT THE CLINIC, AND COMMUNITY HEALTH FAIRS. BVHC HAD 47,222 MEDICAL VISITS, 1,297 DENTAL VISITS, AND 10,452 MENTAL HEALTH VISITS DURING THE YEAR.
