NORTHFIELD SHARES SEEKS TO SUSTAIN AND TRANSFORM THE NORTHFIELD COMMUNITY BY ADVANCING PHILANTHROPY, INSPIRING VOLUNTEERISM AND PROMOTING COLLABORATIVE LEADERSHIP.

RECEIVE, MAINTAIN AND DISBURSE FUNDS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE GREATER NORTHFIELD COMMUNITY.


PROMOTE VOLUNTEERISM AND ITS IMPORTANCE TO THE GREATER NORTHFIELD COMMUNITY, ASSIST NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN PROMOTING THEIR VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES, AND CONNECT VOLUNTEERS WITH LOCAL SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES. APPROXIMATELY 20-30 INDIVIDUALS VOLUNTEERED DIRECTLY TO OUR WORK AS THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION.OUR WORK ULTIMATELY SUPPORTED THOUSANDS OF INDIVIDUALS IN OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH THE DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION TRAINING WE UNDERWROTE FOR OUR NONPROFIT PARTNERS AND NFSHARES PROVIDED GRANT FUNDING TO 35 ORGANIZATIONS IN SUPPORT OF 40 PROJECTS/PROGRAMS IN OUR AREA WHICH IN TURN SERVCE MUCH OF OUR NORTHFIELD SCHOOL DISTRICT POPULATION.
