OUR MISSION IS DEDICATION TO PRESERVING THE NATURAL LEGACY OF THE UPPER KLAMATH BASIN BY PROVIDING PUBLIC ACCESS TO LAND AND WATERWAYS, RESTORING & ENHANCING BABITAT FOR NATIVE FLORA AND FAUNA AND EDUCATING ON HOW TO INCORPORATE BEST PRACTICES TO HELP PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT.

DURING 2022 THE ORGANIZATION HAS PROVIDED THE FOLLOWING:SYCAN RIVER - THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINS 865 ACRES OF THIS AREA THAT PROVIDES VALUABLE HABITAT FOR ELK, MULE DEER, PRONGHORN ANTELOPE, BADGER, MIND, COYOTE, GRAY WOLF AND A LARGE NUMBER OF BIRD SPECIES. IN 2021 THIS AREA WAS AFFECTED BY THE BOOTLEG FIRE AND MUCH OF THE VEGETATION WAS DAMAGED OR DESTROYED. THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUES TO WORK ON FUNDING FOR THE RESTORATION WORK OF THIS AREA.


DURING 2022 THE ORGANIZATION HAS PROVIDED THE FOLLOWING:KNOTT TABLELANDS - THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAIN A QUARTER SECTION OF THIS SAGE STEPPE IN THE CENTER OF THE TABLELANDS TO HELP PROTECT THE THIN SOILS THAT PROVIDE FOOD AND HABITAT FOR AMERICAN PRONGHORN, SMALL MAMMALS, RAPTORS, SONGBIRDS AND REPTILES.


DURING 2022 THE ORGANIZATION HAS PROVIDED THE FOLLOWING:SPRAGUE RIVER - THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINS 40 ACRES THAT IS HOME TO NATIVE TROUT AND HABITAT TO MIGRATING BIRDS.
