THE MISSION OF THE HOLLY SPRINGS FOOD CUPBOARD IS TO PROVIDE SUPPLEMENTAL FOOD AND REFERRAL ASSISTANCE TO THOSE IN NEED IN THE HOLLY SPRINGS COMMUNITY.

DURING 2021 AND THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC, THE HOLLY SPRINGS FOOD CUPBOARD DISTRIBUTED IN THE HOLLY SPRINGS AREA. WEEKLY DISTRIBUTIONS SERVED APPROXIMATELY 52 FAMILIES EACH WEEK. IN ADDITION, FOOD COLLECTION SITES WERE ESTABLISHED AND MAINTAINED IN THE HOLLY SPRINGS AREA TO COLLECT FOOD DONATIONS. PROGRAM SERVICE EXPENSES INCLUDED THE PURCHASE OF TURKEYS, HAMS AND OTHER FOOD PURCHASES FOR NUMEROUS FAMILIES. AN ONSITE GARDEN, CULTIVATED AND CARED FOR BY VOLUNTEERS, RAISED FRESH VEGATABLES TO SUPPLEMENT FOOD DISTRIBTUIONS.
