COMMUNITY RESOURCE TRUST HAS COLLABORATED WITH OREGON HOUSING AND COMMUNITY SERVICES, KEY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, THE CITY OF SALEM, AND MOUNTAIN WEST INVESTMENT CORPORATION, TO BUILD 180 LOW-INCOME HOUSING UNITS IN THE CITY OF SALEM, OREGON. THE PROJECT IS COMPLETE AND FULLY-LEASED.
COMMUNITY RESOURCE TRUST HAS COLLABORATED WITH MOUNTAIN WEST INVESTMENT CORPORATION AND SALEM-KEIZER SCHOOL DISTRICT IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATIONAL CENTER (CTEC). THE MISSION OF CTEC IS TO PREPARE STUDENTS FOR HIGH-SKILL, HIGH-WAGE, AND HIGH-DEMAND CAREERS WHILE DEVELOPING THE PROCESSIONAL SKILLS, TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, ACADEMIC FOUNDATION AND REAL-WORLD EXPERIENCE TO ASSURE THEIR SUCCESS UPON GRADUATION.
COMMUNITY RESOURCE TRUST IS CURRENTLY FUNDING THE SCHOOL INNOVATION COLLABORATION PROJECT, WHICH IS DESIGNED TO IMPROVE ATTENDANCE AND ACHIEVEMENT RATES IN 3 HIGH SCHOOLS AND 2 ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS IN SALEM, OREGON.
