CORVIAN COMMUNITY SCHOOL IS COMMITTED TO USING THE PRINCIPLES OF "THE BASIC SCHOOL" BY THE LATE DR. ERNEST L BOYER, PRESIDENT OF THE CARNEGIE FOUNDATION FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF TEACHING. OUR MISSION IS TO MAKE SURE CORVIAN COMMUNITY SCHOOL IS A PLACE WHERE STUDENTS ARE ENGAGED AS LEARNERS IN CLASSROOMS WITH HANDS-ON TEACHING, TEACHERS ARE EMPOWERED TO MEET THE NEEDS OF STUDENTS ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND PARENTS BECOME PARTNERS TO MAKE EACH CLASSROOM A COMMUNITY.
