THE PURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO FUND PEDIATRIC CANCER RESEARCH. IN ADDITION, FUNDS HAVE BEEN RAISED TO SUPPORT CHILDREN AND FAMILIES AFFECTED BY CANCER. THE FOUNDATION ALSO RUNS DOTHATONETHING! COUNCIL PROGRAM FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL, HIGH SCHOOL, AND COLLEGE STUDENTS, WHICH PROVIDES HOPE AND JOY TO CANCER PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES; CREATES AWARENESS OF PEDIATRIC CANCER RELATED ISSUES AMONGST YOUNG PEOPLE AND THEIR PEERS; AND TEACHES STUDENTS LEADERSHIP, ORGANIZATIONAL, AND PUBLIC SPEAKING SKILLS.
