MIAMI ARTS COMMISSION IS A 501(C)3 NOT-FOR-PROFIT WITH THE MISSION TO REVITALIZE THE MIAMI, ARIZONA AREA THROUGH THE ARTS AND ARTS-BASED CREATIVE PROGRAMMING. OUR MISSION IS ALSO TO UNITE THE ARTISTS OF THE MIAMI AREA, TO IMPROVE MIAMI'S APPEAL AS A CULTURAL DESTINATION, AND TO STIMULATE ECONOMIC GROWTH. WE HAVE PROGRAMS THAT CENTER THE ARTS AS A CONTRIBUTING PART OF THE TOWN'S IDENTITY AND GROWTH. THROUGH THESE PROGRAMS WE'LL RAISE ARTS AWARENESS, SUPPORT AND PARTICIPATION IN MIAMI AZ.

MIAMI ARTS COMMISSION PARTNERED WITH MIAMI GENESIS TO RUN THE KIDDIELAND ARTS, CRAFTS AND PLAY ACTIVITIES FOR MIAMI FIESTA. AT MIAMI'S FIESTA KIDDIE LAND WHERE WE ALSO PROVIDED VOLUNTEERS AND A PIÑATA FULL OF CANDY AND CRAZY COOL OBJECTS.


PRODUCED OUR ANNUAL WINTER GROUP ART SHOW AND SUMMER GROUP ART SHOW.


MIAMI ARTS COMMISSION PRODUCED OUR 11TH MIAMI LOCO ARTS FESTIVAL, THE FIRST ONE AFTER THE PANDEMIC BREAK. WE COUNTED IT A SUCCESS. WE WERE AWARDED A 7500 GRANT FROM UNITED FUND , 1000 FROM H.O.M.E., AND 500 FROM THE TOWN OF MIAMI. WE SPENT 5000 ON THE ARTISTS, AND THE REST ON ADVERTISING, BANNERS, T-SHIRTS, MISCELLANEOUS SUPPLIES, AND WATER.


MAC ADDED AN EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR THIS YEAR WITH A GENEROUS GRANT FROM THE ARIZONA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION. WE RECIEVED A GRANT FOR 25000 WHICH WE RE-GRANTED 12,500 TO ART 145 IN SUPERIOR, AND THE OTHER HALF WE PUT IN OUR BANK ACCOUNT TO HIRE OUR FIRST EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR. THE MONEY WE RECIEVED IN NOVEMBER AND IS CARRYING OVER TO PAY FOR THE FIRST 6 MONTHS OF OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR POSITION.
