THE FALLON FESTIVAL ASSOCIATION WAS SUCCESSFUL IN PROMOTING THEIR PREMIER EVENT, THE FALLON CANTALOUPE FESTIVAL THIS YEAR. THE FESTIVAL HAD AN INCREASE IN INCOME OF $75,422 COMPARED TO 2022. THE FESTIVAL BELIEVES THE INCREASE WAS DUE TO FAR REACHING, TARGETED MARKETING CAMPAIGNS, THE EXPERIENCED DIRECTOR, MORE NOTABLE ENTERTAINMENT, AS WELL AS AN EMPHASIS ON PRE-PURCAHSED TICKET SALES. THERE WERE MORE FOOD AND RETAIL SALES VENDORS IN 2023. THERE WAS AN INCREASE IN ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN (MANY OF THEM FREE), THE RODEO PARTICIPATION INCREASED AND SO DID CUSTOMER ATTENDANCE. IN ADDITION, THERE WAS AN INCREASE IN PAID SPONSORSHIPS.
