Part 3 - Line 4a

BEFORE/AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS: CHESS CLUBS AT ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS AROUND CENTRAL NEW MEXICO. THE PROGRAM SERVED OVER 1,500 DIFFERENT STUDENTS THIS FISCAL YEAR. STUDENTS BENEFITED FROM LEARNING THE GAME OF CHESS WITH LESSONS DESIGNED TO BENEFIT THEIR INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT WEEKLY FOR 14 WEEKS OVER THE SPRING OR FALL SEMESTER OR BOTH.


CHESS CAMPS: WEEK LONG CHESS CAMPS AT LOCATIONS AROUND ALBUQUERQUE, RIO RANCHO, AND SANTA FE. STUDENTS WERE IMMERSED IN LEARNING THE GAME OF CHESS WITH LESSONS DESIGNED TO BENEFIT THEIR INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT. IN THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2023 WE SERVED OVER 1,000 STUDENTS.
