MASTER'S OF EDUCATION DEGREE (M.ED.) PROGRAMS: THROUGH THE HIGH TECH HIGH GRADUATE SCHOOL OF EDUCATION, K-12 EDUCATORS ARE PROVIDED AN EFFECTIVE AVENUE TO REFLECT UPON THEIR PRACTICE AND ACQUIRE SKILLS TO PERFORM AS REFORM-MINDED LEADERS IN THEIR FUTURE ASSIGNMENTS. HIGH TECH HIGH GRADUATE SCHOOL OF EDUCATION PROVIDES TWO M.ED. OPTIONS - SCHOOL LEADERSHIP FOR THOSE ASPIRING TO MANAGE THEIR OWN K-12 SCHOOL AND TEACHER LEADERSHIP FOR THOSE EDUCATORS WHO PLAN TO STAY IN THE CLASSROOM BUT ASPIRE TO LEAD OTHER TEACHERS IN IMPROVING THEIR SKILLS AS EDUCATORS OF YOUNG PEOPLE.
CENTER FOR RESEARCH ON EQUITY AND INNOVATION: ENGAGES PRACTITIONERS, SCHOLARS AND YOUTH IN CRITICAL DIALOGUE AND NETWORKED IMPROVEMENT EFFORTS ADDRESSING COMPLEX PROBLEMS OF PRACTICE IN K-12 EDUCATION. THE CENTER MERGES PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE AND SCHOLARSHIP TO ACTIVELY IMPROVE TEACHING, LEARNING, AND LEADERSHIP IN SCHOOLS. THE WORK IS GUIDED BY THE FOLLOWING PRINCIPLES: EXCAVATE: WE CRITICALLY EXAMINE OUR OWN BELIEFS, PRACTICES AND THE SYSTEMS IN WHICH OUR STUDENTS LIVE AND WORK.
