IS AN ARIZONA NONPROFIT CORPORATION, ESTABLISHED, AS REQUIRED BY THE US DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD), AS A SINGLE-PURPOSE ENTITY TO DEVELOP, OWN AND OPERATE A 10-UNIT FACILITY OF MULTIFAMILY HOUSING IN THE CITY OF TUCSON, PIMA COUNTY, STATE OF ARIZONA, PURSUANT TO HUD'S SECTION 811, SUPPORTIVE HOUSING FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES PROGRAM. 100% OF THE UNITS WILL BE OCCUPIED BY PERSONS WHO ARE SERIOUSLY MENTALLY ILL, CAPABLE OF INDEPENDENT LIVING, AND WHO QUALIFY AS "VERY LOW-INCOME" AS DEFINED UNDER SECTION 3(B)(2) OF THE UNITED STATES HOUSING ACT OF 1937 (I.E. THOSE WHOSE INCOME LEVEL IS AT OR BELOW 50% OF THE MEDIAN FAMILY INCOME FOR THE AREA). IN ADDITION TO MUCH NEEDED HOUSING, THE RESIDENTS WILL ALSO BE PROVIDED WITH SUPPORTIVE SERVICES SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED TO MEET PHYSICAL, SOCIAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL NEEDS AND TO PROMOTE THE HEALTH, SECURITY, HAPPINESS AND USEFULNESS OF THEIR LIVES.
