THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED AND SHALL BE OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS DEFINED IN SECTION 501C(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE, BY OPERATING FOR THE EXCLUSIVE BENEFIT OF PERMIAN BASIN WOMEN'S RESOURCE CENTER. THE CENTER PROVIDES PREVENTION EDUCATION PROGRAMS AT NO CHARGE IN SCHOOLS THROUGHOUT THE PERMIAN BASIN, AN INTERVENTION PROGRAM TO CLIENTS FACING UNPLANNED PREGANCIES AND A RESTORATION PROGRAM TO HELP RESTORE LIVES AFFECTED BY UNPLANNED PREGANCIES.

THE LIFE CENTER FOUNDATION IS ORGANIZED TO RAISE SUPPORT FOR AND RECEIVE AND MANAGE ENDOWMENT FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING OPERATING SUPPORT TO THE PERMIAN BASIN WOMEN'S RESOURCE CENTER (THE LIFE CENTER). THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH FUNDRAISING EVENTS AND BY INVESTING ENDOWMENT FUNDS AND PROVIDING THE EARNINGS OR A PORTION OF SUCH EARNINGS TO THE LIFE CENTER FOR USE IN ITS OPERATIONS.
