Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

DUE TO COVID-19, MANY OF OUR REGULARLY SCHEDULED ACTIVITIES WERE CANCELLED. HOWEVER, ASSEMBLIES WERE DONE ONLINE (ZOOM) AS WELL AS TALENT SHOW,DIRECTORS'S MEETINGS WITH EACH GRADE LEVEL AND PARENT GROUP MEETINGS. LAST YEAR WE ALSO ADDED FAMILY GAME NIGHTS WHICH INCLUDED FAMILY FEUD AND DECORATING COMPETITIONS. STANFORD ACHIEVEMENT TESTS WERE HELD AND ALL STUDENTS PARTICIPATED. DESPITE HAVING HALF OF OUR STUDENTS ONLINE, THE RESULTS SHOWED THAT OUR STUDENTS WERE ON TARGET WITH CURRICULUM GOALS AND ARE STILL PLACED, GENERALLY, TWO YEARS ABOVE GRADE LEVEL. SELECTED EIGHTH GRADE STUDENTS TOOK THE THE 9TH GRADE REGENTS IN BOTH ALGEGRA 1 AND LIVING ENVIRONMENT (SCIENCE) FOR 9TH GRADE AND PASSED. ALL OTHER 8TH GRADERS WERE GIVEN CREDIT FOR THE REGENTS AND PASSING THE CLASS WITH AN 85 GRADE POINT AVERAGE. ONE GRADUATING STUDENT WAS ADMITTED TO LAGUARDIA SCHOOL OF THE PERFORMING ARTS. DURING COVID-19, WE NEVER HAD TO CLOSE ANY OF OUR CLASSES DUE TO INFECTIONS. THIS WAS DUE TO OUR STRINGENT PROTOCOLS FOR DISINFECTING; PUTTING IN HIGH FILERATION SYSTEMS; STRICT MASK WEARING MANDATE, AND NEW CLASSROOM MEASURES. UNFORTUNATELY, OUR INTERNATIONAL TRIP TO TANZANIA WAS CANCELLED.
