CITY AND COUNTRY SCHOOL IS AN INDEPENDENT SCHOOL LOCATED IN NEW YORK CITY. THE SCHOOL PROVIDES FOR THE EDUCATIONAL NEEDS FOR CHILDREN AGES 2-13. BELIEVING THAT EDUCATION IS FUNDAMENTALLY A SOCIAL PROCESS, THE SCHOOL STRIVES TO CREATE A VITAL SCHOOL COMMUNITY THAT SUPPORTS CHILDREN'S INNATE PASSION FOR LEARNING WHILE ALSO EXPANDING THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF COMMUNITIES AND CULTURES THAT EXIST BEYOND SCHOOL AND HOME.
