THE BILLION DOLLAR ROUNDTABLE'S VISION IS TO LEAD, INFLUENCE, AND SHAPE SUPPLIER DIVERSITY EXCELLENCE GLOBALLY. ITS MISSION IS TO DRIVE SUPPLIER DIVERSITY EXCELLENCE THROUGH BEST PRACTICE SHARING AND THOUGHT LEADERSHIP.

PROMOTING AND SHARING BEST PRACTICES IN SUPPLY CHAIN DIVERSITY THROUGH CONFERENCES AND SOCIAL MEDIA. BILLION DOLLAR ROUNDTABLE (BDR) SPONSORS AN ANNUAL SUMMIT CONFERENCE TO EXAMINE ISSUES IN SUPPLIER DIVERSITY. REPRESENTATIVES OF LARGE CORPORATIONS WHO WOULD LIKE TO INCREASE THE DIVERSITY OF THEIR SUPPLIER BASE ARE INVITED TO THIS ANNUAL PRESENTATION WHICH SHOWCASES THE SUPPLIER DIVERSITY PROGRAM. A VIRTUAL PROGRAM CALLED "BDR CONNECTS" CONTINUED TO BRING INTERESTED PARTIES TOGETHER IN A VIRTUAL FORMAT TO DISCUSS VARIOUS ISSUES RELATED TO SUPPLIER DIVERSITY.
RECOGNIZING CORPORATIONS WHO ACHIEVE REQUIRED LEVELS OF SPENDING WITH QUALIFYING SUPPLIERS AND ENCOURAGING INCREASED LEVELS. QUALIFYING SUPPLIERS ARE THOSE WITH MINORITY, WOMEN, VETERAN, DISABLED, LGBT, AND GLOBALLY DIVERSE OWNERS. DURING 2022 BILLION DOLLAR ROUNDTABLE HAD 32 MEMBERS COMPOSED OF LARGE CORPORATIONS WHO HAD MET THE REQUIREMENT OF SPENDING AT LEAST ONE BILLION DOLLARS WITH SUPPLIERS WHO MET THE DIVERSITY QUALIFICATIONS. PARTICIPATION LEVELS ARE VERIFIED BY INDEPENDENT TESTING.
WRITING POLICY PAPERS AND REPORTS TO HIGHLIGHT CURRENT TRENDS AND BEST PRACTICES FOR ACHIEVING SUPPLY CHAIN DIVERSITY. THE SECOND GLOBAL ECONOMIC IMPACT REPORT WAS PRODUCED IN 2022 AND NOW APPEARS ON THE BDR WEBSITE.
