CONFERENCE - THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR ANIMAL HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE CARE OFFERS AN OPPORTUNITY TO CONNECT WITH A DIVERSE GROUP OF PROFESSIONALS, ADVOCATES, AND ENTHUSIASTS IN THE FIELD OF ANIMAL HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE CARE, TRANSCENDING GEOGRAPHICAL BOUNDARIES. THE CONFERENCE PROVIDES AN OPPORTUNITY FOR ATTENDEES TO STAY FUTURE-READY AND RELEVANT FOR THOSE LOOKING TO ELEVATE THEIR SKILL SET AND KNOWLEDGE IN ALL-THINGS END-OF-LIFE CARE FOR ANIMALS. THE 2023 IAAHPC CONFERENCE OFFERED 38 HOURS OF AAVSB RACE CONTINUING EDUCATION. THE 2023 CONFERENCE HAD 293 REGISTRANTS.


CERTIFICATION - THE IAAHPC ANIMAL HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE CARE CERTIFICATION PROGRAM IS PIONEERING IN ITS FIELD, BEING THE FIRST OF ITS KIND TO CERTIFY VETERINARY PROFESSIONALS WORLDWIDE IN DELIVERING ELEVATED CARE TO FAMILIES AND THEIR BELOVED PETS DURING THE END-OF-LIFE JOURNEY. OUR PROGRAM STANDS OUT NOT ONLY FOR ITS UNIQUE FOCUS ON HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE CARE BUT ALSO FOR THE CALIBER OF OUR INSTRUCTORS, WHO ARE EXPERTS IN VARIOUS SPECIALTIES SUCH AS NEUROLOGY, CARDIOLOGY, END-OF-LIFE CARE, AND PAIN MANAGEMENT. THE PROGRAM IS A COMPREHENSIVE CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAM APPROVED BY THE REGISTRY OF APPROVED CONTINUING EDUCATION (RACE). IT ENCOMPASSES APPROXIMATELY 100 HOURS OF COURSEWORK DESIGNED TO ENHANCE THE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS OF VETERINARIANS AND LICENSED VETERINARY TECHNICIANS AND NURSES IN THE FIELD OF ANIMAL HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE CARE. ENROLLING IN THE IAAHPC ANIMAL HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE CARE CERTIFICATION PROGRAM OFFERS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY FOR VETERINARY PROFESSIONALS TO EXPAND THEIR KNOWLEDGE, ENHANCE THEIR SKILLS, AND MAKE A MEANINGFUL DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF ANIMALS AND THEIR CAREGIVERS.
