THE BWI COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION (ALSO KNOW AS "THE PARTNERSHIP FOUNDATION) IS A 501(C)(3) NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED IN 2008 THAT EXISTS TO TRANSFORM AND REVITALIZE THE CENTRAL MARYLAND REGION BY SUPPORTING AND IMPLEMENTING INITIATIVES WITHIN ITS STRATEGIC FOCUS AREAS. OUR STRATEGIC FOCUS AREAS ARE: TRANSPORTATION, ECONOMIC, COMMUNITY AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT, EDUCATION, HOSPITALITY, TOURISM AND LOCAL MILITARY SUPPORT.

COUNTY CONNECTOR: THE COUNTY CONNECTOR IS A FREE SHUTTLE THAT CONNECTS WORKFORCE, JOBSEEKERS AND RESIDENTS TO BWI MARSHALL AIRPORT, LIVE CASINO & HOTEL, ARUNDEL MILLS MALL AND BWI MARC/AMTRAK STATIONS TO EFFECTIVELY ACCESS EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN THIS AREA. THIS PROGRAM IS DESIGNED FOR THOSE WITH LIMITED ACCESS TO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION. THE SHUTTLE RUNS 365 DAYS A YEAR AND HAS EXTENDED HOURS.
BEAUTIFICATION: PROVIDES ROADSIDE LITTER CLEAN-UP, REMOVAL/DISPOSAL OF LITTER WITHIN A 3 MILE RADIUS OF THE LIVE CASINO. REMOVAL OF DEBRIS, HAZARDOUS MATERIALS AND OTHER UNDESIRABLE ITEMS; PERFORMING GRASS CUTTINGS IN COMMON AREAS AND PLANTS AND MAINTAINS VEGETATION WHICH IS AESTHETICALLY PLEASING TO THE COMMUNITY.
