1P36 DSA HOLDS A CONFERENCE ONCE A YEAR. THIS YEAR IT WAS IN BALTIMORE MD. THE CONFERENCE BRINGS FAMILIES, DOCTORS AND OTHER INTERESTED PARTIES TOGETHER TO LEARN AND DISCUSS 1P36 DELETION SYNDROME. THIS IS OUR MAIN ACTIVITY EACH YEAR AND 300-350 ARE IN ATTENDENCE. THE COST FOR THE CONFERENCE IS SIGNIFICANT FOR THE SMALL NON-PROFIT AS WE PICK UP THE CHARGES FOR THE SPEAKERS, CONFERENCE HALL, SHIRTS, EVENTS AND SOME MEAL EXPENSE. THE INDIVIDUAL WITH 1P36 DELETION SYNDROME WHO ATTENDS, ATTENDS FOR FREE.
