OUR MISSION IS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF THE DISADVANTAGED AND MOST VULNERABLE THROUGH EDUCATION, POVERTY REDUCTION, GENDER EQUALITY AND TO PROMOTE PEACE AND JUSTICE.

ALICE VISIONARY FOUNDATION PROJECT (AVFP) OFFERS EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIPS TO GIRLS/ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN (OVC), PROVIDES A FEEDING PROGRAM TO OVC, CARRIES OUT GIRLS' EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMS AND GIRLS MENTORSHIP PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT THE MUHORONI DISTRICT IN KISUMU COUNTY KENYA, AFRICA. THROUGH CONTRIBUTIONS MADE TO AVFP NGO, OUR SISTER ORGANIZATION IN KENYA, AFRICA, WE WERE ABLE TO CARRY OUT THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS: * EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: WE WERE ABLE TO SUPPORT 25 ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN (OVC), CONSISTING OF 13 ELEMENTARY AND 12 HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. * FEEDING PROGRAM: OUR 13 ELEMENTARY STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM. * BIBLE STUDY: 50 CHILDREN/TEENS PARTICIPATED IN THIS PROGRAM. * LIFE SKILLS AND TEAM BUILDING TRAINING: 54 TEENS (MALE/FEMALE) COMPLETED THIS TRAINING. * COUNSELING AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT: PROVIDED FOR OUR 25 OVC IN ADDITION TO 15 CAREGIVERS/GUARDIAN AND/OR PARENTS OF OVC * GIRLS EMPOWERMENT/MENTORSHIP PROGRAM (CONSISTING OF EDUCATION, HEALTH AND CAREER TRAINING): 345 GIRLS THROUGHOUT 3 OF THE PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN OUR DISTRICT.
