SOUTHERN NEVADA MEDICAL INDUSTRY COALITION WORKED TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF HEALTH CARE THROUGH THE PROMOTION OF THE HEALTH CAREERS PROJECT AND THROUGH THE RECRUITMENT AND OUTREACH AND EDUCATION. THE ORGANIZATION USED ITS EXISTING PARTNERSHIPS WITH ALL AREA HOSPITALS, HEALTH CARE EMPLOYEES, AND HEALTH CARE RELATED PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS TO IMPLEMENT EMPLOYER DEFINED CURRICULUM TO STIMULATE ADDITIONAL HIRING AND JOB CREATION WITHIN THE HEALTH CARE SECTOR.
