PROVIDED ACCREDITED TEXAS ENERGY MANAGER (AEM) COURSES TO MEMBERS SEEKING TO FURTHER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE AREAS OF ENERGY EFFICIENT MANAGEMENT PRACTICES. ADMINISTERED EXAM FOR AEM CREDENTIAL. AT THE END OF 2022, THERRE WERE 189 AEM-CREDENTIALED ENERGY MANAGERS IN OUR ASSOCIATION. CONTINUED TO OPERATE OUR COURSES BOTH IN-PERSON AND VIRTUALLY TO MEET THE NEEDS OF ALL OUR MEMBERS.CONTINUED WORKING ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN ADVANCED LEVEL CERTIFICATION, THE MASTER TEXAS ENERGY MANAGER (MEM) SERIES. AS OF THE END OF 2022, THERE WERE 12 MEM-CREDENTIALED MASTER ENERGY MANAGERS IN OUR ASSOCIATION. CONTINUED THE DEVELOPMENT OF OUR CERTIFICATION FOR CONTROLS. AT THE END OF 2022, THERE WERE 17 CERTIFIED CONTROLS SPECIALISTS IN OUR ASSOCIATION.
CONDUCTED HYBRID MONTHLY MEETINGS IN SOME CHAPTERS AND IN-PERSON CHAPTER MEETINGS ALL OVER THE ASSOCIATION. EACH CHAPTER WAS ALLOWED TO MEET ACCORDING TO THE NEEDS OF THEIR REGION.
TEMA CONFERENCE 2022 WAS HELD IN-PERSON & VIRTUALLY TO FACILITATE THE EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION AND IDEAS FOR ISSUES RELATING TO THE PROFESSION OF THE MEMBERS (APPROXIMATE ATTENDANCE:300).CONDUCTED TWO FALL EDUCATIONAL EVENTS WITH NETWORKING:ONE IN GEORGETOWN, TX IN SEPTEMBER AND ONE IN NEW BRAUNFELS, TX IN OCTOBER. APPROXIMATE ATTENDANCE FOR BOTH EVENTS WAS 200.A NEW EVENT CALLED THE TEMA SYMPOSIUM WAS OFFERED IN LUBBOCK IN SEPTEMBER AND NEW MEXICO IN NOVEMBER. THE SYMPOSIUMS ARE A DAY LONG CONFERENCE THAT INCLUDES EDUCATION, NETWORKING, AND EXHIBITING OPPORTUNITIES. COMBINED ATTENDANCE FOR BOTH EVENTS WAS AN ESTIMATED 150 PEOPLE.
2 NEW CHAPTERS WERE FORMED IN THE LUBBOCK AREA AND IN ALBUQUERQUE,NM. THIS MAKES A TOTAL OF 10 REGIONAL CHAPTERS AND 1 VIRTUAL CHAPTER.CONTINUED DEVELOPMENT OF THE TEMA WEBSITE TO ALLOW FOR EASIER EXCHANGE BETWEEN MEMBERS AND TO SERVE AS A DEPOSITORY OF ENERGY MANAGEMENT INFORMATION.WE CONTINUED PLANNING FOR THE 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026, AND 2027 TEMA CONFERENCES.
